We offer all of the following support options for every client:
- Telephone Support
Much of our support is provided over the telephone.
We maintain working versions of most client applications on our in-house network, so
we can easily test operating scenarios to identify the best solution to any problem.
More than half of our support requests are successfully handled during a single telephone
call.
- Dial-in Support
Whenever testing needs to be performed using "live" data, or when software
updates need to be delivered, the most productive option is to use a dial-in connection. Most of our
development clients have dial-in servers, through which we can log in to the client's network. Minor
changes can be made effectively through a dial-in connection, after working hours, without any impact
on normal operations.
- On-Site Visits
Whenever needed, we are pleased to schedule on-site visits. All major deliveries,
project review meetings, and operational testing are performed on-site. You can request an on-site
meeting for any support need, at any time.
- Ongoing Support
Since our founding in 1986, we have provided continuity and ongoing support for all
systems we have developed. Unlike the majority of vendors who insist that you upgrade, we maintain
systems that use outdated versions of software. Our support roster includes some DOS-based systems
for clients who remain satisfied with their application built using this older technology. A
combination of system longevity, typical employee turnover rates at our clients, and our own low
turnover, has resulted in DLA becoming the best repository of knowledge concerning the history
and features of our clients' applications. We stand ready to make the knowlege base we have assembled
of your application -- whether it exists in our filing cabinets, our computer network, or our
memories -- available to you at any time, now or in the future.
We are generally available on short notice to respond to an emergency situation. If we aren't
in the office, you are encouraged to leave day and evening numbers. We will always call back the
same day. We are always pleased to schedule installation and maintenance activities before or after
regular business hours, to minimize the impact on your operations. |
